REFUNDS & CANCELLATIONS POLICY

Wild Trails Buggies

This Refunds & Cancellations Policy applies to all bookings made through https://wildtrailsbuggies.com/ or directly with Wild Trails Buggies (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By making a reservation, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined below.

Wild Trails Buggies operates tours and experiences in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, and this policy complies with Dominican consumer protection laws and internationally accepted e-commerce standards.

 


 

1. Booking Confirmation & Payment

  • All tours and extra services are subject to availability.

  • A booking is considered confirmed only after payment is received and a confirmation email is issued.

  • Prices are listed in the currency shown at checkout and may include taxes or fees as required by law.

 


 

2. Customer-Initiated Cancellations

 

A. Standard Cancellation Policy

Customers may cancel their reservation under the following conditions:

Time of Cancellation Refund Eligibility
48 hours or more before the scheduled tour Full refund
24–47 hours before the scheduled tour 50% refund
Less than 24 hours before the scheduled tour No refund

 

Refunds apply only to the tour price paid, excluding non-refundable fees (see Section 6).

 


 

B. No-Shows

  • Failure to arrive at the pickup point or meeting location at the scheduled time

  • Failure to provide correct pickup details

  • Late arrival causing tour interruption or cancellation

These situations are considered no-shows and are non-refundable.

 


 

3. Company-Initiated Cancellations

Wild Trails Buggies reserves the right to cancel or reschedule tours due to:

  • Severe weather conditions

  • Safety concerns

  • Mechanical issues

  • Force majeure events

  • Insufficient participant numbers

  • Government or authority restrictions

 

In such cases, customers may choose:

  • A full refund, or

  • Rescheduling to another available date (subject to availability)

 


 

4. Weather Conditions

Tours operate rain or shine, unless conditions are deemed unsafe by our team.

  • Light rain or overcast conditions do not qualify for refunds.

  • Only cancellations made by Wild Trails Buggies for safety reasons are eligible for refunds or rescheduling.

 


 

5. Modifications to Bookings

  • Requests to change dates, times, or participant details must be submitted at least 24 hours in advance.

  • Modifications are subject to availability and operational feasibility.

  • Price differences may apply.

 


 

6. Non-Refundable Items

The following are non-refundable, unless otherwise required by law:

  • Transaction or processing fees

  • Third-party service fees

  • Promotional or discounted bookings (unless explicitly stated)

  • Gift cards or vouchers (if applicable)

 


 

7. Refund Processing

  • Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method.

  • Refund processing time:

    • 5–10 business days (depending on the bank or payment provider)

  • We are not responsible for delays caused by financial institutions.

 


 

8. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

Customers agree to contact Wild Trails Buggies before initiating a chargeback.

Unjustified chargebacks may result in:

  • Suspension of future bookings

  • Submission of booking evidence to payment processors

This policy serves as documented proof of agreed terms.

 


 

9. Consumer Rights (Dominican Republic)

This policy does not limit your rights under:

  • Law No. 358-05 on Consumer Protection (Pro Consumidor)

  • Other applicable Dominican regulations

If a provision is deemed unenforceable, the remainder of the policy remains valid.

 


 

10. Special Circumstances

Refund exceptions may be considered at our sole discretion in cases such as:

  • Medical emergencies (documentation may be required)

  • Force majeure events directly affecting the customer

Granting an exception does not constitute a waiver for future cases.
